Abbotsford Canucks Closing In On Franchise Home Win Streak Record

The Abbotsford Canucks are the hottest team in the AHL. After a slow start, Abbotsford has won eight straight games and currently sits second in the Pacific Division. Everything seems to be clicking for the Vancouver Canucks' AHL affiliate, as they are also a perfect 5-0 at Rogers Forum.

Thanks to their five-game home winning streak, the Canucks are closing in on a franchise record. The franchise record for the longest home win streak is seven, set during the 2024-25 campaign. Abbotsford still has some time to go before challenging the all-time franchise win streak record, which sits at 13 and is also held by the 2024-25 squad.

What has been impressive about the Canucks' five-game home winning streak is that Abbotsford has found different ways to win. Whether the score is 5-4 or 2-1, the Canucks' structure is holding up night after night. So far on this five-game winning streak, Abbotsford has outscored the opposition 21-11, with the game-winning goal scored by a different player each night.

After defeating the Ontario Reign on Friday, the Canucks are right back in action on Saturday night. They will once again battle the Reign and look to extend their overall win streak to nine games. Puck drop at Rogers Forum is scheduled for 5:00 pm PCT and can be viewed on FloSports.
