
The Abbotsford Canucks have re-signed three players for the 2025-26 season. All three players were signed to one-year extensions and spent the majority of the 2024-25 campaign in the ECHL. The three players who were re-signed were forwards Ben Berard and Zach Okabe, as well as goaltender Jonathan Lemieux.
Berard recorded two points during his four games with Abbotsford this season. As for his time with the Kalamazoo Wings, he recorded 40 points in 47 games and was part of the ECHL's Midseason All-Stars. Listed at 6'0", 192 lbs, last year was Berard's first with the Canucks organization after spending the previous season with the Texas Stars.

As for Okabe, the 2024-25 campaign was his first full season as a pro. He spent the entire year with Kalamazoo, recording 41 points in 72 games. Listed at 5'9", 170 lbs, Okabe finished the 2024-25 season with three points in his final two games.
Lastly, Lemieux was the Wings' starter for the majority of the 2024-25 season. The 24-year-old played in 40 games and finished the year with a record of 14-19-4. Listed at 6'1", 194 lbs, Lemieux is projected to be the starter for Kalamazoo next season.
