
The Abbotsford Canucks have signed a trio of players to contract extensions. Forward Cooper Walker and Joe Arntsen both received two-year AHL extensions, while Dino Kambeitz was re-signed for one season. All three played depth roles for Abbotsford last year and helped the organization capture their first championship in franchise history.
Kambeitz joined the Canucks after spending the previous three seasons with the Bakersfield Condors. The former Lethbridge Hurricanes captain recorded 14 points in 52 regular-season games, while suiting up eight times in the post-season. Listed at 6'2", 212 lbs, Kambeitz has over 200 games of AHL experience and is projected to once again play a depth role for Abbotsford.

As for Arntsen, he also spent time in the WHL with Lethbridge before signing with the Canucks. The 22-year-old defender played 10 games with Abbotsford last season, but spent the majority of the year in the ECHL with the Kalamazoo Wings. Listed at 6'3", 209 lbs, Arntsen is projected to play both in the AHL and ECHL during the 2025-26 season.
Lastly, Walker had a successful second campaign with the Canucks organization. The former Guelph Storm captain scored five times and recorded 10 points in 34 games. Listed at 6'0", 174 lbs, Walker should be a fixture in the bottom-six next year.
