The Abbotsford Canucks are officially Calder Cup Finals bound after defeating the Texas Stars. This year's Western Conference Final was a six-game thriller, which ended with a 4-2 Abbotsford victory on Sunday. While there were many players that stepped up in the series, here is a look at five Canucks who stood out against Texas.

    Linus Karlsson

Linus Karlsson stepped up in a big way during the Western Conference Final, recording seven points over the six games. He also recorded five or more shots in three of the games, finishing with 25 total. If Abbotsford is going to take down the Charlotte Checkers, they will need some big performance from Karlsson in the Calder Cup Finals.

    Arshdeep Bains

Arshdeep Bains has been one of the Canucks best players this post-season. The 24-year-old recorded at least a point in five of the six games against the Stars, and capped off the series with a two-goal performance. A fan favourite in Abbotsford, Bains is showing that he can deliver for his team on the biggest stage.

    Max Sasson

Max Sasson is having a playoffs to remember. He had at least three shots in five of the six games and is currently on a three-game point streak. A leader on the ice, Sasson is proving to be one of the Canucks best college free agent signings of the last decade.

    Kirill Kudryavtsev

Kirill Kudryavtsev has been Abbotsford's unsung hero of the post-season. Against Texas, he recorded three assists and finished with a plus/minus of +6. A seventh-round steal, Kudryavtsev has developed into a key member of the Canucks blue line.

    Artūrs Šilovs

what more can be said about Artūrs Šilovs. The 24-year-old has been incredible during the post-season and is the current favourite for playoff MVP. If Šilovs can keep posting save percentages above .915%, or better yet, add to his five shutouts, there is a good chance that Abbotsford will end the season as champions.
