Canucks Place Aatu Räty On Waivers

The Vancouver Canucks have placed center Aatu Räty on waivers. If cleared, the 23-year-old will be eligible to be assigned to the AHL. This season, Räty has played four games and recorded one goal.

Räty has struggled to get into the lineup so far this year. In his four games, he has averaged 10:10 of ice time and recorded four shots on goal. As for his faceoffs, that is an area where Räty continues to excel in, posting a win percentage of 56.8%.

If cleared, Räty will most likely be assigned to the Abbotsford Canucks. He has not played in the AHL since the 2034-25 season. In 140 career games with Abbotsford, Räty has scored 37 goals and recorded 104 points.
