The William Hanley Trophy is handed out to the OHL's most sportsmanlike player.
Kieren Dervin has been nominated for a year-end award in the OHL. The Vancouver Canucks prospect has been named a finalist for the William Hanley Trophy. Dervin is one of six finalists, with the award being given out to the OHL's most sportsmanlike player of the year.
This season, Dervin played 53 games for the Kingston Frontenacs. The 2025 third-round pick scored 17 goals while recording 42 points. Dervin did a good job avoiding the penalty box in 2025-26, registering only 20 penalty minutes this year.
With Kingston eliminated from the playoffs, Dervin's OHL career is most likely complete. He has committed to Penn State University for next season, meaning he will be ineligible to sign an ELC with the Canucks once he officially joins the NCAA. Dervin is listed at 6'1", 183 lbs, and can play both at center and on the wing.
