Vancouver Canucks prospect Sawyer Mynio has 16 points through his first 12 games of the 2024-25 season.

Vancouver Canucks prospect Sawyer Mynio is projected to make Team Canada's 2025 World Junior team. The projection comes courtesy of TSN's Craig Button, who recently released his projected roster this morning. The Seattle Thunderbirds defenceman was one of ten WHL players on the roster, which also featured Gavin McKenna, Tij Iginla and Tanner Molendyk.
Mynio is off to a very strong start this season. He leads the Thunderbirds in scoring with 16 points in 12 games and sits third in the WHL for points by a defenceman. Mynio is on pace to smash his career high of 53 points, which he established last season.

Mynio finished the game with 19:32 of ice time while recording two blocked shots and three takeaways.
