Two Vancouver Canucks prospects have punched their ticket to the 2025 NCAA Frozen Four Championship. Tom Willander and Aiden Celebrini will participate in this year's final after Boston University defeated Penn State 3-1 on Thursday. Boston University will take on Western Michigan, who defeated Denver 3-2 in double overtime.

Starting with Willander, he logged 25:10 of ice time in the victory. He recorded an assist and was credited with three blocked shots. The Canucks 2023 first rounder has played at least 20 minutes in each of his last nine games, and has been a big part of Boston University's power play and penalty kill.

As for Celebrini, he finished the game with 6:12 of ice time. Celebrini finished with one shot attempt during the game and was on the ice for the game-winning goal. The 2023 sixth-round pick is reportedly returning to the NCAA next season, meaning he will not be signing his entry-level contract after the final.

The 2025 Frozen Four Championship is set for Saturday from St. Louis. Boston University will be looking for their sixth championship, and first since 2009. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:30 pm PT and can be viewed on TSN.
