Quinn Hughes will miss his fourth straight game with an injury.

The Vancouver Canucks will be without Quinn Hughes on Saturday when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs. This will be the fourth straight game Vancouver's captain misses as he recovers from a reported oblique injury. While the Canucks are 2-0-1 over their last three games, Hughes' absence is massive and has impacted both the power play and Vancouver's play at even strength.

With Hughes no sidelined for a fourth-straight game, the attention turns to the 4 Nations Face-Off, which is scheduled to start on February 12. Hughes is projected to play a significant role for Team U.S.A. but may be forced to skip the tournament due to this injury. According to Canucks Head Coach Rick Tocchet, no decision has been made yet regarding Hughes' participation in the event.

As for other lineup notes, Vancouver is expected to use the same lineup as Thursday night in San Jose. That means the Canucks will start Thatcher Demko in net for the third straight game. Over his last two starts, Demko is 2-0-0 and has stopped 58 of the 59 shots he has faced.

Vancouver plays their last game before the 4 Nations Face-Off break on Saturday, as they return to Rogers Arena to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs are currently second in the Atlantic Division with 68 points accumulated in 54 games played. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:00 pm PT, despite the game taking place in Vancouver.
