    Quinn Hughes took home his sixth team award of the season, winning the Cyclone Taylor Trophy as Team MVP. This is Hughes' first time taking home the award, which is voted on by the fans. Others to take home the Cyclone Taylor Trophy include Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin.

    Canucks’ Quinn Hughes Named Most Exciting Player For 2024-25 By The Fans

    Hughes has produced one of the best seasons by a Canucks defenceman in franchise history. He recorded 60 assists for the fourth straight season and, heading into the final game of the season, led the team with 76 points. Over his 67 games, Hughes averaged 25:44 and recorded a career-high three game-winning goals.

    At the end of the season, Hughes is also projected to be a finalist for the 2025 Norris Trophy. Vancouver's captain won the prestigious award in 2024, becoming the first player in franchise history to win the Norris. Based on his play, Hughes may also get some Hart Trophy votes, which is awarded to "the player adjudged to be the most valuable to his team."
