The Canucks have officially selected Yaroslav Bryzgalov with the 97th pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

The Vancouver Canucks have selected Yaroslav Bryzgalov 97th overall in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old left-winger played last season in the WHL with the Medicine Hat Tigers. In 64 games, Bryzgalov scored 13 goals and recorded 55 points. 

Bryzgalov also had a strong playoff run with 14 points in 15 games. Listed at 6'3", 216 lbs, he also finished the campaign with a plus/minus of +37. Next season, Bryzgalov is headed to the NCAA, where he will join Merrimack College

Before joining the WHL, Bryzgalov spent a year in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers. In 51 games, he scored 10 goals while recording 17 points. Bryzgalov has also represented Belarus at multiple tournaments throughout his career.
