A familiar face to Vancouver Canucks is back in the NHL. After three seasons in Switzerland, former Canucks center Juho Lammikko has signed a contract with the New Jersey Devils. The contract is a one-year deal that will carry an average value of $800,000.
Lammikko's only season with Vancouver came in 2021-22. He was traded from the Florida Panthers with Noah Juulsen in exchange for Olli Juolevi. After his one-year stint with the Canucks, Lammikko moved to the NL and has been with the ZSC Lions for the last three seasons.
During his one year, Lammikko was an efficient fourth-line center. He recorded 15 points in 75 games, while averaging 12:17 a night. Lammikko also threw 93 hits while winning 51% of his draws.
