If fans are looking to put some longshot bets on Vancouver Canucks players, here are a few options ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Betting has become a massive part of the NHL and sports in general. Today, fans can bet on everything from the final score to how many shots a specific player will register in a game. With the 2024-25 season set to start in less than a month, here is a look at some longshot betting odds which feature Vancouver Canucks players winning year-end awards.
Note: All odds are courtesy of BetMGM. To qualify, a player must have a betting line of 100.00 or higher.
Art Ross
While three Canucks players feature on the Art Ross list, two qualify as longshots for this article. The first is J.T. Miller, who is listed at 101.00 and is tied with Matthew Tkachuk, Jason Robertson and Jake Guentzel. Considering that Miller finished top ten in scoring last season, his betting line seems a little low, which could be beneficial for fans.
The other is Quinn Hughes, who is listed at 151.00. While it would take a Herculean effort for Hughes to lead the NHL in scoring, it should be noted that he has better odds than players like Sidney Crosby, Sam Reinhart, and William Nylander. That being said, it is surprising that BetMGM does have Evan Bouchard above him, despite the fact that Hughes had ten more points than the Edmonton Oilers defender last season.
Hart Trophy
Moving to the Hart Trophy, three players from Vancouver qualify as longshots. Miller is once again the highest on the list, coming in at a staggering 251.00. Based on the way Miller plays, this is of tremendous value as he looks poised to build off his career-high of 103 points from last season.
As for the other two, they are Thatcher Demko, who is at 301.00, and Brock Boeser, who is at 501.00. While both are talented players, it would take a monster season for either to be nominated for the Hart Trophy. That being said, it is not out of the question, which is why both have listed odds.
Rocket Richard Trophy
The Rocket Richard Trophy odds are interesting, as all three Canucks listed have the same betting line. The three consist of Elias Pettersson, Miller and Boeser, who are all listed at 101.00. While it is hard to predict which player will lead the team in scoring, all three provide plenty of value from a betting perspective.
