Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet said that he thinks Boeser will come on the trip, but only if he can return at some point.
"I think he's coming on the trip. I haven't talked to the medical staff yet. We have a meeting after this to decide if he's going. Whether he stays back to skate or not, we still have to talk about that," Tocchet said. "If he doesn't play on this trip, obviously, he won't come, but we'll see. We'll see how it goes day to day."
With J.T. Miller out of the lineup, the Canucks are searching for players to fill the void of the offense he leaves behind. Boeser resumed skating for the first time yesterday and has been out with an upper-body injury suffered on Nov. 7 against the Los Angeles Kings.
Tanner Jeannot was suspended for his hit on Boeser, which injured him.
