Welcome back to another installment of Top Five at 15/30. Last time, we looked at the Vancouver Canucks’ top performers from March 1 to 15. This time, we’ll be looking at the best performances from players throughout the second half of March. Here are the top five Canucks from March 15 to 30.

    Brock Boeser

Most notable game: March 18 vs. Winnipeg Jets

    Points since the 15th: 6G, 2A in 9GP

Lost in some of the recency bias is Boeser, who had himself a fantastic mid-March. With back-to-back multi-goal games and back-to-back clutch third-period tallies, Boeser led the Canucks in goals since the 15th with six in nine games. While he has cooled since then, he still had two points in the team’s 7–6 defeat against the Columbus Blue Jackets

    Quinn Hughes

Most notable game: March 22 vs. New York Rangers

    Points since the 15th: 2G, 7A in 9GP

Hughes has very consistently been the Canucks’ best player this season. In the second half of March, specifically in Vancouver’s midday match against the Rangers on the 22nd, Hughes set the season-high for top speed with 24.56 mph. Even during a stretch where he hasn’t been as noticeable as other players, he has still averaged a point per game while playing a team-high 248:34 during this stretch.

    Aatu Räty

Most notable game: March 28 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

    Points since the 15th: 3G in 4GP

Räty was called up to the big club on March 23, and skated in his first game since January 2025 on Monday. Since then, he has filled in for some of the team’s missing offense by potting three goals in four games, including one against his former team. With Vancouver’s top two centres out due to injury, Räty has been able to come in and fill the role asked of him relatively seamlessly. In the past four games, he has won 32 of 52 faceoffs taken, giving him the highest faceoff win percentage (61.54%) of players who have taken more than 20.

    Kiefer Sherwood

Most notable game: March 26 vs. New York Islanders

    Points since the 15th: 3G, 7A in 9GP

Since March 15, Sherwood has the second-most points registered by all Canucks with three goals and seven assists. Last week, he broke the NHL record in hits in one season, and is currently up to 422 with eight games left. He has gone on quite a tear this week in particular, grabbing six points in four games played. Unsurprisingly, he led both the Canucks and the NHL in hits since March 15 with 68 — 23 more than the next player, Nathan Walker of the St. Louis Blues

    Pius Suter

Most notable game: March 28 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

    Points since the 15th: 5G, 7A in 9GP

With injuries taking out Vancouver’s top two centres, Suter has had to fill in as the team’s top-line centre. Having compiled 12 points in nine games, it’s safe to say that he has filled in offensively and beyond. Since being moved up, Suter has looked like a different player. He is third on the team since the 15th in shots produced with 18 and leads all forwards in xGF with 9.31, all while taking the most faceoffs (157).
