Former Canuck Elias Lindholm led the offence today, scoring three of Sweden’s goals with Pettersson assisting on the second. Sweden lapped Slovenia multiple times in terms of the shots they took — they had 39 to Slovenia's five by the end of the second period, putting up 23 just in the second frame. Pettersson registered one of the team’s 60 total shots in the 17:23 minutes he played.
