The Vancouver Canucks have released limited-edition merchandise ahead of Alex Edler's retirement. The franchise's all-time leader in games played, goals, assists and points by a defender will sign a one-day contract with the Canucks before Friday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Edler recorded 99 goals, 310 assists and 409 points with Vancouver over his 15 seasons with the franchise.

Four items are for sale ahead of tomorrow's game. Fans can purchase a mini stick for $20, a special pin for $12, a puck for $20 or a t-shirt for $38. As for tickets to the game, they are currently available, with fans able to get into the building for just over $110.

Edler played 925 of his 1,030 career NHL games with the Canucks. During that time, he participated in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final and won a Silver Medal with Team Sweden at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Edler sits fourth all-time on the franchise's all-time games played list and is one of eight players from the 2004 NHL Draft class to play over 1,000 games.
