The New Jersey Devils announced superstar Jack Hughes won't play against the Vancouver Canucks tonight.

"Jack won't play," Devils coach Lindy Ruff told Devils media members. "It's not (confirmed) how long he will be out. (He is) still being evaluated. We will have a full update once he has gone through all the protocols."

Tonight's game was deemed the "Hughes Bowl," with all three Hughes brothers supposed to play. The game will still include Norris trophy favorite and Canucks Captain Quinn Hughes against the youngest of the three Hughes', Devils rookie Luke Hughes.
