Four additional Vancouver Canucks were added to the NHL All-Star roster on Saturday. Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller, Brock Boeser and Thatcher Demko were among the 12 players voted in through the fan vote on social media and the NHL's website. They will join Quinn Hughes and Rick Tocchet, who have been selected to attend the event.

Pettersson heads to the All-Star Game for the fourth time in the last five seasons. His crowning moment came last year when he won the hardest shot competition, clocking in at 103.2. He will be looking to win the event for the second time in his career, having walked away as a champion in 2020 as a member of Team Pacific.

This will be Miller's first time at the All-Star Game. On pace to set new career highs in goals, assists and points, expect plenty of passion as he goes for the $1 million cheque. The question is, where will he be drafted come fantasy draft time?

Boeser will be making his second appearance at the event, with the first coming in 2018. The Canucks winger won the accuracy shooting contest and was named MVP of the event. He was also the only rookie at the All-Star Game that season and led all first-year players with 22 goals and 40 points at that time.

Demko will also be making his appearance and first since 2022. He would share the net with John Gibson for Team Pacific, but they wouldn't make it out of the semifinals, losing to the eventual winners, the Metropolitan. With his appearance at that event, he became the first goaltender from Vancouver to participate in an All-Star Game since Roberto Luongo in 2009.

This year's event will take place in Toronto from Feb 1-3. While there will be a skills competition and game, this edition will be slightly different as a fantasy draft will be used to determine the teams. You can catch all the action on either Sportsnet or CBC.
