On Monday, Jackson Dorrington and the Northeastern Huskies captured their ninth-ever Beanpot, defeating Boston University 4-3 in overtime. A historical tournament that dates back to 1952, this four-team event features Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College and Harvard and is played at TD Garden in Boston. A sixth-round pick by the Vancouver Canucks in 2022, this is Dorrington's second straight Beanpot win as he was part of the 2023 team that was captained by fellow Canucks prospect Aidan McDonough. A physical presence throughout, Dorrington finished with one blocked shot in the win.

Conversely, Boston University featured two Vancouver prospects in Tom Willander and Aiden Celebrini. Willander, who was the Canucks first-round pick in 2023, finished the game with an assist, two shots and two blocks, while Celebrini, a seventh-round pick in 2023, had three shots and one blocked shot. Both should be back at BU next season.

The consolation game also featured two Canucks prospects as Boston College defeated Harvard 5-0. On the winning side was 2019 sixth-round pick Jack Malone who recorded two shots, a block and went two for four in the faceoff dot for Boston College. As for Harvard, 2021, fifth-round pick Aku Koskenvuo played the third period, stopping seven of the nine shots he faced.
