Defenceman Tom Willander and Boston Univeristy took care of goaltender Aku Koskenvuo and Harvard University, defeating them 7-1. Boston University also has defenceman Aiden Celebrini on their roster, but he was a scratch for this game.
Willander had a strong game for BU. He recorded a power play assist and led the team in blocked shots with two. The 2023 first-rounder also attempted four shots, two of which were on goal.
As for Koskenvuo, while he didn't start the game, he did play the entire third period. The 2021 fifth-round pick faced ten shots and made nine saves. Koskenvuo is 4-5-1 this season and carries a .902 save percentage as well as a goals against average of 2.81.
