Since joining the Golden Knights in 2021, Eichel has improved every season. After his 94 point campaign last year, it seemed like he'd reached his peak but it appears that might not be the case.

Through the first two weeks of the season, it'd be tough to argue anyone has been better than him. In seven games, he's accumulated six goals, 10 assists and a +7 rating, playing a major role in the team's hot start. He's also excelled on the power play once again to star the year, with eight points.

It helps that Vegas has one of, if not the best offense in the league. They lead all teams with 30 goals for.

Eichel is on pace for over 150 points, and while it's unlikely he'll hit that number, he'll have plenty of scoring opportunities on the first line as well on their boosted power play unit with Mitch Marner, Pavel Dorofeyev, Tomas Hertl and Shea Theodore.

If he can stay healthy, expect him to be in the run for not only the Hart Memorial Trophy, but also the Art Ross Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award
