After being suspended by the NHL until Dec. 1 due to his connection with the alleged Hockey Canada scandal, goalie Carter Hart is finally eligible to return to the league. However, he hasn't played in an NHL game since Jan. 20, 2024, and while his stats with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) don't look great, he's faced some tough shots.
Through three starts, he posted a 1-2 record and an abysmal .839 save percentage.
But, if you look art the goals he's allowed in his last two starts, against the Bakersfield Condors and Ontario Reign, he hasn't really allowed any bad ones.

With Adin Hill on injured reserve, Hart is expected to compete with Akira Schmid for starts, and his first chance to make a positive impression with his new team will come on Dec. 2, where he's set to make his season debut against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Vegas Golden KnightsAfter being assigned to the Henderson Silver Knights on Nov. 15, the team wasted no time getting Carter Hart out on the ice. Silver Knights fans couldn't wait to see the former star goaltender make his return.
He started tonight's game against the Calgary Wranglers, in what was his first time back in net since early 2024. Despite the long absence, he looked pretty sharp.
Through two and a half periods of play, Hart didn't have to deal with much, only having to turn away 13 shots before the Wranglers found the back of the net with just over five minutes to play in the game. Despite the Silver Knights being on a power play, the Wranglers wound up on a two on one. A quick pass from Sam Morton to Matvei Gridin found its way past Hart glove side.
Less than a minute later, the Wranglers once again found themselves in Silver Knights territory and after a wrist shot from Jeremie Poirier wound up along the boards, it was picked up by Dryden Hunt who passed it over to Daniil Miromanov. Minomanov worked his way up into the high slot and beat Hart glove side on a wrist shot. There were two players screening Hart, making it difficult to see, so it's hard to put this one on him.
Hart picked up the win, allowing two goals on 14 shots. He will need more time to shake off the rust, but tonight's performance was a good start.Nov 17, 2025 Vegas Golden Knights Vegas Golden Knights Since joining the Golden Knights in 2021, Eichel has improved every season. After his 94 point campaign last year, it seemed like he'd reached his peak but it appears that might not be the case.
Through the first two weeks of the season, it'd be tough to argue anyone has been better than him. In seven games, he's accumulated six goals, 10 assists and a +7 rating, playing a major role in the team's hot start. He's also excelled on the power play once again to star the year, with eight points.
It helps that Vegas has one of, if not the best offense in the league. They lead all teams with 30 goals for.
Eichel is on pace for over 150 points, and while it's unlikely he'll hit that number, he'll have plenty of scoring opportunities on the first line as well on their boosted power play unit with Mitch Marner, Pavel Dorofeyev, Tomas Hertl and Shea Theodore.
If he can stay healthy, expect him to be in the run for not only the Hart Memorial Trophy, but also the Art Ross Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award. Oct 21, 2025 Vegas Golden Knights Vegas Golden Knights
