Jack Eichel had a goal and an assist to extend his point streak to a franchise-best 10 games in a 6-3 victory against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena.
“He's got good energy. His legs are there. He’s probably played a couple more minutes and ideally, but when he has legs like that, and they're going let's get him out there,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “Jack certainly been on right now and feeling good about his game. Healthy. Can't say enough about him.”
Mark Stone had three assists, while Nicolas Roy, Jonathan Marchessault, Chandler Stephenson, Ivan Barbashev and William Karlsson all scored goals for Vegas.
Adin Hill made the start, but left the game at 6:25 with an undisclosed injury. Logan Thompson came in relief to make 20 saves.
“Really just disappointed for [Adin]. I mean, he worked really hard, and he's always worked hard to get back,” Stone said. “But I'm sure he'll be okay. He'll get right back to work tomorrow to try and get back in the lineup. Definitely not worried about him. ‘LT’ came in and played really well for us and got us the win.”
Vegas travels to Carolina to take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.
