The Vegas Golden Knights will travel to California to take on the Los Angeles Kings before heading home for a five-game homestand.

The Golden Knights are 3-2-0 in the month of February, and with just two games remaining in the month, they could put their awful January in the rearview mirror.

Returning from the 4 Nations Face-Off break, the Golden Knights were tasked with taking on the Vancouver Canucks. They went down 1-0 in the second period, but goals from Ivan Barbashev, Brandon Saad and Tomas Hertl helped pick up a vital pair of points.

Offence will be tough to come by tonight. The Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL, ranking fifth in goals allowed per game, second in shots allowed per game and fifth in penalty kill percentage. Offensively, the Golden Knights rank sixth in goals scored per game, fourth in shots on goal and fourth in power play percentage.

Adin Hill was stellar against the Canucks, turning away 33 of the 34 shots he faced. He's tonight's expected starter and he'll be opposed by Darcy Kuemper. The Kings' 34-year-old goaltender has bounced back in a major way after a disappointing season with the Washington Capitals last year.

He's posting a .917 SV% and a 2.22 GAA and is part of the reason why the Kings' defensive numbers are among the NHL's best.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM PST at Crypto.com Arena.
