Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports - Golden Knights Take On The Bruins In Boston

The Vegas Golden Knights are coming off a big win over the Maple Leafs and will try to build off the momentum as they take on the Boston Bruins.

The Golden Knights were on a three-game losing streak and were going up against a Maple Leafs team that was on a seven-game win streak but it was the Golden Knights who came out on top. Jonathan Marchessault scored twice and set a new career high in goals. William Karlsson added a goal and an assist and is now two points away from 400 career points.

The Bruins come into this game in a bit of a weird stretch. The Bruins have lost three in a row but picked up a point in each game as they all went past regulation. Seven of the last eight games have gone into overtime for the Bruins. They are returning home after their four-game Western Canada plus Seattle road trip.

The Golden Knights and Bruins faced off in January which saw the Golden Knights beat the Bruins 2-1 in overtime. Alex Pietrangelo scored the overtime winner.

Bruce Cassidy is once again returning to Boston, a team that he coached for six seasons. Cassidy also spent 14 years in the Bruins organization. He was an assistant and head coach for the Providence Bruins, Boston's AHL affiliate before becoming an assistant and then later head coach of the Boston Bruins.
