Anze Kopitar scored his 400th career goal and Cam Talbot made 38 saves in the Los Angeles Kings 4-1 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights.
William Karlsson scored his team-leading seven goal, while Adin Hill made 29 saves for the Golden Knights.
Vegas fell to 11-2-2 on the season, and lost back-to-back regulation games for the first time since Jan. 16 and Jan. 18 of last season.
The Golden Knights return to the ice Friday at T-Mobile Arena to take on the San Jose Sharks.
We played pretty well for a majority of the game," Vegas forward Mark Stone said. "In the third period, we just kind of shut it down a little bit, didn't really have our legs. But adversity doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger. We'll be ready for San Jose on Friday night."
