The Henderson Silver Knights announced they have signed Riley McKay and Braeden Bowman to AHL contracts.

McKay played in 46 games with the Laval Rocket during the 2023-24 season and registered four goals and 10 points to go along with 148 penalty minutes, the fourth most across the AHL. Before the 2023-24 season, the 25-year-old has bounced between the AHL and ECHL with the Hartford Wolfpack and the Indy Fuel. Last year was his first full season in the AHL.

Bowman completed his final season with the Guelph Storm of the OHL where he captained the team. In 68 games he scored 37 goals and 71 points. His 71 points were second on the team behind 2024 first-round pick Jett Luchanko and Bowman led his team in goals by 12.

The 21-year-old is a 6'2, right-handed winger and attended the Golden Knights' 2024 development camp.

Bowman will look to help the Silver Knights improve offensively and McKay will provide the team with the physical element that is essential to AHL teams.
