Golden Knights Are Going Green cover image

The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation is doing what it does best, growing with the community. On Saturday, March 28, Lee’s Family Forum won’t just be an arena but a pop-up celebration of local food and student innovation.

From 10 AM to 2 PM, the Gold Lot will transform into a Farmers Market powered by a partnership with Garden Farms of Nevada. The organization has been reshaping how Southern Nevada grows, shares, and thinks about food.

Students from 19 local schools will be showcasing the fruits and vegetables they’ve cultivated through Garden Farms’ sustainability programs. It’s a hands-on learning experience leading to real-world impact.

A portion of the March 17 jersey auction is already earmarked for Garden Farms, but in addition the Foundation will match every dollar of produce sold, up to $20,000. That money will make its way straight back into the schools’ sustainability programs.

Members of the Golden Knights organization will be on site, including former Golden Knight Alec Martinez. They will be joined by others from the Henderson Silver Knights and the Vegas Knight Hawks, alongside mascots, cast members, and performances by the Knight Line.

This will certainly be a farmers market with flair worth checking out.
