The Vegas Golden Knights will host Utah HC in their third and final meeting of the 2024-25 season.

The Golden Knights have come out on the winning end of both meetings so far, winning the first at home 4-3 in overtime and the second 4-2 in Salt Lake City. William Karlsson has three goals and four points against Utah this season. He skated in his 700th career game yesterday against the Winnipeg Jets in a momentum-building win.

Ivan Barbashev and Brett Howden were the two stand-out performers for the Golden Knights last night, each potting two goals. Howden has had a knack for scoring timely goals this season and did so once again scoring the game-winning goal with 4:05 left in the third period.

Ilya Samsonov will get the start in goal for the Golden Knights and will duel with Jaxson Stauber, who will be making his first-ever Utah HC start. Stauber played 6 games with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022-23, posting 5 wins in six games with a .911 SV% and 2.81 GAA.
