Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz told Danny Webster and the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he would like to bring a PWHL team to Vegas.

Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz told Danny Webster and the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he would like to bring a PWHL team to Vegas.

The PWHL recently wrapped up their debut season and due to its success, it's brought lots of interest from not only fans but owners and presidents including Bubolz.

In his interview with the Review-Journal he said “We remain interested in the context of growing the game,” Bubolz told the Review-Journal “If that’s part of growing the game in Las Vegas, we want to be a part of that.”

Vegas has been a favourite for many sports leagues to expand too. The Golden Knights were first followed by the Las Vegas Aces, Las Vegas Raiders and now the Oakland Athletics are in talks of moving to the Sin City.

Bubolz also told the Review-Journal that he believed Lee's Family Forum in Henderson would be the perfect venue. The Forum holds 5,567 fans and is also home to the Golden Knights AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights.

The Las Vegas Storm and Vegas Jr. Golden Knights currently offer girls hockey in Las Vegas.

Vegas has continually grown in the sports industry and adding a PWHL franchise would be the next step in the growth of the new powerhouse sports city.
