The Vegas Golden Knights have sent Brendan Brisson to the Henderson Silver Knights.
The 23-year-old forward has played seven games this season but has yet to register a point. Expectations of the young forward grew this offseason when multiple forwards departed from the team. There was a real opening for Brisson to play well and snatch a role with the Golden Knights but he hasn't seized it quite yet.
Brisson played 52 games with the Silver Knights during the 2023-24 campaign, recording 19 goals and 38 points. With NHL experience and the skillset he possesses, Brisson should be the focal point of the Silver Knights' offence.
His ability to shoot the puck off of a one-timer or once when he has time in space is an asset the Golden Knights were hoping would translate to the NHL but at his current stage, developing in the AHL is what is best for him.
