The Vegas Golden Knights will be switching ECHL affiliates for the 2024-25 season, the Savannah Ghost Pirates announced.

The Ghost Pirates took to X formerly known as Twitter to announce they would be switching NHL/AHL affiliates on Monday, June 17.

The Ghost Pirates have been the Golden Knights ECHL affiliate for the previous two seasons. The Ghost Pirates recently named Jared Staal their new head coach and he'll be in attendance for their announcement.

Nothing has been confirmed quite yet but it has been rumoured that the Golden Knights' new ECHL affiliate will be the Tahoe Knight Monsters. The team will make their debut during the 2024-25 season.

The Knight Monsters are located in Stateline, Nevada which is closer to the Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights.

Tim Tebow, former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner is also a part owner of the new franchise alongside David Hodges, CEO of Hodges Management Group, LLC. The head coach will be Alex Loh, who previously worked as an assistant coach and later interim head coach of the Ghost Pirates.
