The Tahoe Knight Monsters have signed defenseman Jeff Solow and forward Logan Nelson.

Solow spent his 2023-24 season with four different teams in three different leagues. He registered a goal and an assist in 21 ECHL games with the Jacksonville Icemen and Maine Mariners. He also had stints in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), and the AIHL in Australia.

The 28-year-old will add veteran experience to the Knight Monster's blueline.

Nelson is a right-handed, 30-year-old centreman who's racked up 510 ECHL games in his career. In those 510 games, Nelson has scored 139 goals and 372 points.

His ECHL experience and resume will be an important factor for a new franchise. Someone who is familiar with the ECHL will help them adapt to everything quickly and smoothly. His previous two seasons with the Rapid City Rush saw him eclipse the 50 point plateau and score over 20 goals in the 2022-23 season.
