The Tahoe Knight Monsters have added forward Troy Loggins and defenseman Ryan Orgel to their ECHL roster.
Loggins, 29, is a 5'11, 174 lbs left-handed winger. He spent the the 2023-24 season in the top division in Slovakia where he scored 21 goals and 30 points in 38 games. After Loggins finished his four-year career at Northern Michigan University he signed with the Grand Rapids, the Detroit Red Wings AHL team. He played 37 games over three years with the Rapid scoring five goals and 10 points. A stellar NCAA career didn't pan out the way Loggins would have hoped but he is getting a second chance to do so with the Knight Monsters.
Orgel, 27, is a 6'0, 190 lbs right-handed defenseman with 91 games of ECHL experience. He played the 2023-24 season with the Adirondack Thunder where he registered five goals and 14 points in 40 games. Orgel split his NCAA career with the University of Denver and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The Knight Monsters now have six forwards and four defensemen signed to their roster but still no goaltenders.
