Forward missed the final 32 minutes of the team's opening night 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken.

Vegas Golden Knights forward William Carrier will not travel to San Jose, Calif., for the team’s game against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday.
“He’s getting a looked at a little further than he did last night,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said.
Carrier left the teams’ 4-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday with an upper-body injury. He didn’t play the final 32 minutes of the game.
Carrier is a vital member of the team’s fourth line. He’s a physical force, and complements Nicolas Roy and Keegan Kolesar well.
He set career highs in goals (16) and points (25) last season.
There is no word on how severe the injury is, but it’s safe to call him day to day for the time being.
