Forward sustained a lower-body injury against Boston Bruins on Jan. 11.
The Vegas Golden Knights announced Tuesday that the forward Jack Eichel will be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury following successful surgery.
He sustained the injury Jan. 11 against the Boston Bruins. He left the game but came back to score a goal.
Eichel said he felt OK after the game, but later tests proved the injury to be more serious that it required surgery.
He is tied with the Mark Stone for the team lead in points with 44 (19 goals, 25 assists).
Eichel was also named the Golden Knights' representative for the NHL All-Game game.
