Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports - Golden Knights Forward Set To Make NHL Debut

Golden Knights forward Mason Morelli is set to make his NHL debut against the San Jose Sharks.

Morelli is a 6'1, 28-year-old centre and has been playing in the AHL and ECHL for the last six seasons. Morelli played four years of College hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

The Golden Knights are still struggling with injuries and sent down forward Jonas Rondbjerg yesterday to the Henderson Silver Knights.

Morelli has ten goals and 23 points in 44 games for the Silver Knights this season. Morelli won a Calder Cup with the Hershey Bears last year scoring five goals and 13 points in 20 games.

The Golden Knights have used a carousel of Silver Knights forwards this year and Mason Morelli is the newest player to make his way into the Golden Knights lineup.
