The Vegas Golden Knights cut their training camp roster to 26 players, the team announced on Saturday.

Brendan Brisson, who has two goals this preseason, remains on the training camp roster.

Layton Ahac, Tyler Benson, Jake Bischoff, Jakub Brabenec, Daniil Chayka, Lukas Cormier, Adam Cracknell, Jakub Demek, Mason Morelli, Jiri Patera, Christoffer Sedoff, Jesper Vikman were all assigned to the American Hockey League.

Byron Froese, Mason Geertsen, Dysin Mayo, Gage Quinney, Sheldon Rempal, Jonas Rondbjerg were placed on waivers with the purpose of assignment to Henderson.

Of the names, Rondbjerg is the one who could use the most from a change of scenery. He played in 13 games last season and had an assist for the Golden Knights. He’s played in 43 career NHL games but hasn’t been able to consistently enter the Vegas Golden Knights lineup.

At 24, he can offer a team a NHL-capable player, should they claim him on waivers.
