The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forwards Braeden Bowman and Kai Uchacz to entry-level contracts.
The pair of forwards are participating in their rookie seasons in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights.
Bowman, a 21-year-old winger, has scored 12 goals and 30 points in 52 games. Listed at 6'2 194 lbs, Bowman played three seasons with the Guelph Storm in the OHL, captaining the team in his final season.
Bowman possesses a strong shot and uses it in a multitude of ways. He is an effective scorer using the one-timer or a quick catch-and-release. He ranks second in goals and third in points among all Silver Knight players this season.
Uchacz. 21-year-old centre, has also scored 12 goals and has added 11 assists in 51 games. He too is a Canadian forward who played in the CHL. He spent three seasons with the Red Deer Rebels in the WHL and captained them in his final season.
Listed at 6'2, 198 lbs, Uchacz owns a shot-first mentality and is effective with it due to its power and accuracy. He does an excellent job of finding space to let it go and is deadly accurate with it when he lets it off.

Both Bowman and Uchacz participated in the Golden Knights development camp in the offseason and signed one-year deals with the Silver Knights prior to the start of the 2024-25 campaign and now have turned those deals into NHL contracts. Bowman and Uchacz are the second and third forwards to sign an entry-level contract with the Golden Knights in the last few days, joining Trent Swick.
