

WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals are back in action and looking to bounce back against the Boston Bruins in what will be John Carlson's 1,000th career NHL game.
It's another game of significance for D.C., who can jump into third in the Metropolitan Division with a win and a Philadelphia Flyers loss.
Here's everything to know before puck drop at Capital One Arena at 7 p.m. ET.
The Capitals will go back to a familiar lineup with Sonny Milano set to return after missing the last couple of games with an upper-body injury. Mike Sgarbossa will stay in on the wing, while Nicolas Aube-Kubel will draw out as the healthy scratch.
Rasmus Sandin will be out, though, due to a lower-body injury. Vincent Iorio will draw in.
Charlie Lindgren gets the nod, marking his 14th start in the last 16 games.
