Line Combinations: Jets at Panthers

Winnipeg fights to snap a dismal seven-game losing skid in Sunrise, hoping to jumpstart a cold offense against a rested Florida squad looking for the season sweep.

On Friday, the Winnipeg Jets will look to put an end to their dismal seven-game losing streak as they remain in Florida and head to Sunrise for a matchup against the Florida Panthers.

Florida has split their last four contests, with their most recent victory coming against Winnipeg in a convincing 5-1 win on the road this past Tuesday. The Panthers now return home after having been idle since and will open a three-game homestand with plenty of rest.

Meanwhile, the Jets will try to turn things around as they continue the second leg of their four-game road trip along the East Coast. Historically, these two teams have been involved in some competitive matchups, trading wins over their last six meetings and the trend favors Winnipeg if it continues.

Interestingly, the road team has won each of the last three encounters, while the Jets have also found success in Florida, earning victories in five of their last seven visits.

Winnipeg's biggest concern remains its struggling offense with ten goals throughout their previous six consecutive losses entering Thursday, including a single goal in their most recent meeting with the Panthers.

They'll be eager to rediscover their scoring touch and generate some much-needed offense as they look to get back on track and finally snap their lengthy losing skid.

Koepke-Barron-Lambert
