The Winnipeg Jets will take on the Los Angeles Kings from Canada Life Centre on Monday night.
Facing off in a rare 8:00 PM central start time from downtown Winnipeg, the Jets will look to shake their losing ways in a battle with the familiar Pierre-Luc Dubois and his Kings running mates.
The game will also mark the final test of the season for Winnipeg in its '48er' RCAF-inspired alternate sweaters.
The Jets, which enter the night on a six-game losing streak, are in need of some serious changes to their play. Unable score as of late, despite the recent offensive additions via the trade deadline, Winnipeg has to find the twine at home, in its penultimate test of the five-game homestand.
With a battle against the Calgary Flames coming up on Thursday, the Jets will need to find another gear on Monday, in order to get into better spirits over the course of the rest of the week.
Laurent Brossoit will take to the pipes on Monday, as he looks to rebound from a loss in his last start in New Jersey, nearly two weeks ago.
The defence pairings will look a little different on Monday, as Josh Morrissey will be paired with Neal Pionk on the blueline, as opposed to his familiar partner Dylan DeMelo.
Tyler Toffoli is under the weather and missed morning skate. Cole Perfetti will slot in for him on the team's second line.
Winnipeg Jets expected line combinations for Monday, April 1 vs. Los Angeles:
Ehlers - Scheifele - Vilardi
Connor - Monahan - Perfetti
Niederreiter - Lowry - Appleton
Barron - Namestnikov - Iafallo
Morrissey - Pionk
Samberg - DeMelo
Dillon - Schmidt
Healthy scratches: Toffoli, Stanley, Kupari, Gusstafsson, Miller
Puck drop is set for 8:00 PM central time. The game can be viewed live on TSN.
