The Winnipeg Jets have won nine of their last ten matchups versus the St. Louis Blues

Cole Perfetti Post-game

The Winnipeg Jets look to extended their season opening winning streak to six games when they go on the road to take on a division rival in the St. Louis Blues.

The Jets are having the best start to a season in team history and that's due to their elite defence, that has remained one of the best so far this season with a goals against average of 1.60 which is second-best in the NHL.

The biggest surprise from this team has been their offensive surge as they first or tied for first in goals per game average (4.80), power play percentage (43.8%), and shooting percentage (14.7%).

They will go against a Blues team that has struggled on offence as they rank outside the top 20 teams in goals per game (2.83), shots on net (27.3) and power play (15.4%). The Blues defence on the other hand has been pretty good as they rank 11th in goals against average (2.83). They are very disciplined as they have the ninth-fewest penalty minutes in the league (9.5).

The Jets have dominated this matchup as of late with wins in nine of their last ten games versus St. Louis with their defence allowing more than two goals just twice in that span. Winnipeg's offence has also shown up regularly when playing the Blues as they've scored four or more goals in all nine of their wins.

Forward Kyle Connor will likely lead the charge as he's recorded 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points in his last 20 games versus the Blues.

Catch the game on Sportsnet at 7:00 PM MT, or catch the live broadcast on Power 97, the FM home of the Winnipeg Jets. If you are in the St. Louis area, tickets are incredibly reasonable for Jets versus the Blues with the lowest pair being sold at roughly $21 USD.
