EA Sports released its Top-10 lists for each position and made headlines with some selections. Winnipeg Jets top line left winger Kyle Connor was listed in the top five players for the position, with an overall rating of 91 which had him tied with Dallas's Jason Robertson.

Connor played just 65 games last season but finished with 34 goals and 27 assists for 61 points and a 0.94 point-per-game average. The Michigan native is one of just two Jets to be listed by EA Sports as a Top-10 player at their position, with Connor Hellebuyck being listed as the top goaltender in the NHL with a 93 overall rating.
The analysts at EA Sports are likely counting on a subtle bounce-back season from Connor as his point average was the lowest since the 2020-21 shortened season. Since the start of the 2019-20 season, the former Michigan Wolverine has the second-most goals (176) and the fourth-most points (357) in the league for left-wingers.
Connor is slated to play alongside his longtime teammate Mark Scheifele once again on the Jets' first line with recent newcomer Gabe Vilardi joining them. The hope is that the insertion of another talented young winger can hopefully help Connor have another solid season.
