The Winnipeg Jets begin their second-round matchup against the Dallas Stars tonight, but do so with a bit of uncertainty regarding the health of some key players.

Josh Morrissey, Logan Stanley and Mark Scheifele all skated in regular practice jerseys today after participating in non-contact jerseys just a day ago. HC Scott Arniel deemed them day-to-day and possibilities for Game 1, tagging them with a game-time decision label.

Morrissey left the game early in the first period during the Jets' winner-take-all battle against the St. Louis Blues. What injury Morrissey sustained is unknown, but the early positive signs show that it is likely not a long-term issue. The same can be said for Stanley and Scheifele, who were both out for Game 7.

If the line rushes from this morning's practice are any indication, it seems Morrissey and Stanley will be out tonight, and Scheifele could be returning. Morrissey and Stanley skated as extras, while Scheifele was back on the top line, centring his usual linemates, Kyle Connor and Gabriel Vilardi.

In the opening round series, Scheifele recorded two goals and six points in five games, all coming on home ice. His return would provide the Jets with a major boost offensively and on the power play.
