Exploring betting options for the Jets ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The 2025-26 NHL season draws closer and closer with sportsbooks starting to roll out seasonal bets that fans can ride for a majority of the season. These kind of bets are known as futures and can be something like if a certain player will win an award like the Hart or if a team like the Red Wings will make the playoffs.

There's several betting options for the Jets early on that fans may want to look at. We can further explore what's needed to make the bet hit and hopefully win fans some extra cash if they feel confident.

Could Jacob Trouba Return to Winnipeg? Could Jacob Trouba Return to Winnipeg? Anaheim's Jacob Trouba enters the final-year of his deal and could return to the team that drafted him.

    First-Time Stanley Cup Winner (+550 - $10 Bet Wins $55 Profit, $65 Total)

The Jets are on the verge of being a legitimate Stanley Cup contender with the difficulty of their division getting in their way. They routinely have to go against the top teams in the Conference every postseason and haven't caught a break yet.

It may finally come in 2026 as they are regrouped with some subtle upgrades in certain places like Jonathan Toews and could give them their best chance yet. They'll likely need a couple bounces their way like injuries to star players and other series around them going longer than expected to wear down the West.

Winnipeg has had a Conference Finals contenders for several years now just haven't had the road map to make it but you never know what can happen as there's new teams that break out and emerge in the final four teams like Carolina last season. It's only a matter of time for the Jets to get their chance and the hope is they take advantage.

The best part about this bet is we also don't need just Winnipeg to win the Cup, we also get future bets on all the teams that have never won the cup before in the San Jose Sharks, Seattle Kraken, Nashville Predators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Vancouver Canucks, Minnesota Wild, Winnipeg Jets, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, and the newly relocated Utah Mammoth.

Jets to Make the Playoffs (-220 - $10 Bet Wins $4.55 Profit, $14.55 Total)

The Jets are coming off a President's trophy win last season but the sportsbooks aren't treating Winnipeg like contenders once again as they are a step removed from being even money to make the postseason. They did lose key forwards in Nikolaj Ehlers and Mason Appleton but they did regroup with a couple meaningful adds in their place and will likely look like the same team next season.

To put it into context, sportsbooks believe the New Jersey Devils have a better chance of making it to the postseason after not making it last season. The disrespect is mild but there as the Jets will have an easier strength of schedule this upcoming season compared to the Avalanche and Stars, who will be their main competition to win the Central Division.

This bet doesn't necessarily work on its own as the profits for it aren't big but this could be used as a solid addition to a futures parlay if you wanted to take the Jets to make the playoffs with something else like the Toronto Blue Jays to make the playoffs in baseball or the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl in football. You could also just put more money on this bet and earn back a better payout as a $100 bet pays back $45 profit.
