The Manitoba Moose - in conjunction with the American Hockey League - have announced their 2023-24 schedule.
The 72-game regular season schedule features a home start on October 13 with a date against the second year Calgary Wranglers. It comes to an end on the road six months later with the season finale on April 20 in Texas against the Stars.
Although 32 teams fill the league, Manitoba will see just 11 of them, as the team plays its Central Division-heavy schedule once again.
The Moose will play 24 times against fellow Canadian clubs, with the Wranglers taking the cake with eight total contests. Manitoba will go to battle with the Abbotsford Canucks, Belleville Senators, Laval Rocket and Toronto Marlies four times each.
With an even 36/36 home/away split, Manitoba will see five different sets of four games in a row at Canada Life Centre, while hosting two separate six-game homestands in the later portion of the season.
The team will also see two six-game road trips, as well as a lengthy nine-game heater from January 27 through February 14.
The Moose play a gruelling stretch of three games in three nights on the road from November 17-19, which involve two of their 31 mid-day contests. Manitoba suits up four times in the morning, including twice at home (Project 11 School Day Games).
30 total games will be played on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
