The Jets re-sign depth defenceman, Logan Stanley to a two-year deal

The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed depth defenceman, Logan Stanley to a two-year deal

Stanley, 26, has had trouble staying in the Jets' lineup during his time with the organization, whether it has been injuries or healthy scratches.

He has four goals and 18 assists for 22 points in 139 career games with the Jets.

Stanley is known for his physical edge to his game, which has led to his five fights last season. He has fought against the likes of Vegas’s Keegan Kolesar, Edmonton’s Corey Perry and Minnesota’s Jacob Middleton.

The most games he’s played in an NHL season was 58 in the 2021-22 season but has since played 44 games over the past two seasons.

The addition of Dylan Coghlan may make it tougher for Stanley to find a spot in the Jets' rotation on the blueline, but if injuries pile up, he could find his way into more games.
