Rick Bowness Post-skate The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed defenceman Ville Heinola to a two-year, $800K contract extension. Heinola was the Jets first round selection in the 2019 NHL Draft but has played for the majority of his time with the organization at the AHL level with the Manitoba Moose. He has the eighth-most points of any Moose defenceman with 102 across five seasons with the team. Heinola has a goal and ten assists in 35 games with the Jets and should be competing for a last pairing role on the team next season.
